North Wales Wedding Photographer – Richard Milnes

Hi, I’m Richard Milnes, a full‑time North Wales and Cheshire wedding photographer based on the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula. I’m originally from Manchester, but these days you’ll find me in the coastal countryside of Abersoch with my wife, Cass. She bought me my first camera back in 2006  and I was instantly hooked. I left my job at a creative agency soon after and threw myself into photography, a decision I’ve never looked back on.

Since then, I’ve photographed well over 500 weddings working everywhere from North Wales to Cheshire, Gibraltar and even Beverly Hills. That experience has shaped the way I work today: calm, composed and able to handle anything a wedding day throws at me (what pressure?!). I’m friendly, easy to be around and have a dry sense of humour but above all I’m committed to delivering photography of uncompromising quality.

Living in Abersoch has allowed me to build strong relationships with some incredible venues across North Wales and Cheshire. I’m proud to be a recommended photographer at places including Talhenbont Hall, Merrydale Manor, Colshaw Hall, and Sandhole Oak Barn. Working closely with these venues means I know the best spots, the best light, and how to blend in seamlessly on the day.
